Deep House
A house zene egyik alfaja. Lassabb ütemek és lágyabb hangzás jellemzi, gyakran fordul elő férfi vokál a stílus klasszikusai között.
Tech-house
Minimal
A klasszikus techno mellett egyre nagyobb teret hódított magának a minimal hangzás, a minimal techno.
House
A diszkó,electro, funk, synthpop és az R&B stílus leszármazottja. Tipikus hangszerei a szintetizátor, dobgép, sequencer, sampler. Az első, kifejezetten house zenét játszó klub Chicagóban jelent meg Music Box néven.
