He is Steffen Deux from Mannheim, Germany, who is the younger brother of NICK CURLY, firmly established in the local scene. With releases on labels like 8bit Records, Do Not Sleep or Knee Deep In Sound to name but a few, he also caught some attention throughout Europe. Being a regular at the famous Time Warp Festival in Mannheim and the Sonus Festival in Croatia he even managed to play at the world famous Fabric London lately. Anyone keeping an eye on the most promising talents of the electronic music scene will already have been aware of Steffen Deux for lot of times. As a resident DJ at the Loft Club in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim's Deep House series "feel" he has stood alongside greats such as Loco Dice and Marco Carola. Excellent mixing and a certain sense for the right track have not only earned him success with his club gigs – his productions are also in high demand. His "Yankee Clipper" landed on the Cocoon Compilation "Party Animals", and Adam Beyer selected "Hungry" for the Cocoon Heroes CD.
